I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of The Black House with its beautiful decoration. The rustic charm and comfortable furniture made it feel like a home away from home for us senior folks. The general areas of the hotel were easily accessible, with no stairs or narrow doorways to navigate. It was a relief to feel relaxed and at ease in such a well-designed space.

If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to try and figure out things on our own, and having someone there to help out with any questions or concerns would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

My recent stay at the Black House With Stunning Outdoor Bath was simply incredible. The location was fantastic, offering breathtaking views and just a short walk from the town center. The house itself was tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making me feel right at home. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and having a washer and dryer available was a huge convenience. Although my stay was too short to enjoy the outdoor tub, I can only imagine how amazing it would have been. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Lake Tekapo.

The small house we stayed in was absolutely charming and had a unique design that won architecture awards. We loved the outdoor bath, which provided a truly relaxing experience. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views that we enjoyed from the deck. the kitchenette was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a heater to keep us warm during the cold winter nights.

The laundry room was located across a pathway in the house, which made it quite cold during our stay. It would have been more convenient if the laundry room was within the house itself.

Our family of five had a fantastic stay at the Black House With Stunning Outdoor Bath. The house design was great, offering beautiful views of the lake. It was also conveniently located near all the main Tekapo attractions. The wood burner in the house kept us warm and cosy, while the beds were extremely comfortable. We also loved the well-equipped kitchen and living area, with utensils, books, games, Netflix. The hosts were very receptive and provided excellent instructions to find the place.
